Chocolate a Cure for Coughs?
 

There is sweet news for chocolate lovers. An ingredient in chocolate just may hold the cure for persistent coughs. :D



British researchers say the ingredient, which is found in cocoa, is nearly a third more effective in stopping persistent coughs than codeine, which is the main ingredient in many cough medicines. ;)

The discovery could lead to more effective cough treatments. :shocked: The researchers say the chocolate ingredient also causes no adverse effects such as drowsiness. :dozey:

Now I have a cough how much chocolate would I need to eat? :drool:

I find it a tad far-fetched as well tbh. Chocolate and singing is pretty much a no-no so how can it be beneficial to cure coughs? I always think it makes them worse... :confused:

I'm prepared to believe that chocolate cures coughs.

Look at the Bounty girls, and the girls from the Flake adverts, they all had good chests.....
