VS1003 Signal with ?
 

Have had the Quad pack VS1003 for 6 months, working grear, then suddenly this week, 3 of the phones now have a ? beside the signal bar in top right hand side....

Phones still ring but will not let you answer or make a call.....

Any help would be well appreciated.......

I took the batteries out of the phone that was working and put into a broken phone but still no joy.....

Strange that 3 came up with the same error at the same time.....

do you know what the error means? Does it mean they are not registered to the base station?

I have a different version of those and on mine a number comes up, im not sure what appears in place of the number of they are not registered

Looks like they have lost the signal to the base but cannot remember how to fix.....

Thought last night, i will try the batteries again, swapping with good phone.....now i have no phones working....so desperate now for a solution......

sounds to me like they have lost the registration with the base unit then

i havent, i have a manual for a different model. I'll dig it out when i get home from work and see what it says. It might be the same it might not. I've seen VS1003 manuals for sale on the net though ;)

try http://www.dbtel.co.uk/index.php?page=4 these people manufacture the phones for ntl, apparently the menus described in these manuals are the same in operation as the ntl phones, i used the amethyst 640 manual for a problem i had with my VS1500 phone and it's all ok now!
