deleted web page re-apperaing (newbee)
I have recently uploaded a web site
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/matthew_doherty/ and have noticed a few mistakes, so I have corrected the mistakes on my local drives, then deleted everything in my ftp site and then reloaded the whole site. When you enter the site all is well and the modifications are present until I go to the 'links' page of the site. this is the old page that has been deleted (you can tell as I have put graphical links on the updated page). When I go into the site in ftp and click on the 'link.htm' it is the updated file on my space and no sign of any other file with the same name???? so how can I get rid of this ghost file so the new one can be displayed????? Its 04:19am and have given up hope. anyone got any ideas ? |

Did you press ctrl+F5 to refresh the page this does the same as carlingmans suggestion, however it is not always as reliable.
