New cable modem registration problems.
 

I have been waiting since tuesday 22ndfeb to get my modem working, various engineer visits, couple of hours on phone, still nothing. apparently my modem is in a pending state waiting to be registered should have been working first thing this morning(25th) but still nothing.

The recent registration issue has apparently been resolved (at least according to ntl's Server Status Page anyway.

Don't think it's resolved even though it got a green light on the server status page. My registration was also on the 22nd Feb and yep i've not connect yet. Phoned technical support who were going to pass it to a level 2 tech and i was was told to wait an hour or two and it should come on .........well 6 hours later and it still not on so Monkeybreath has very kindly offered to have a look at it for me tomorrow.

andrewc PM me the mac address from the sticker on the bottom of the modem and i will have a look tomorrow. Most likely it has got stuck pending and needs some fiddling to get it resolved.
