Name in top blue box
Hi all
When surfing the net the name of the web site appears in the top blue box on the screen (far left). How is that named and can it be changed ? thanks |
Re: Name in top blue box
It's a line of code you can add to your web page coding to put the website name into the internet explorer/ firefox browser title ;) Someone here will tell you what to put where no doubt if I don't return quickly enough lol. It's not hard to do though :)
I think you just need to use the <title> title info here </title> tags inbetween your <head> </head> tags in the html. Should be at the beginning of your html coding for that page __________________ There's some more info here http://205.146.39.13/linktuts/webtag1a.htm loads of info out there if you google for html tags :) http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_primary.asp |
Re: Name in top blue box
At the top of your HTML you need to put the following line, between the <HEAD> and </HEAD> tags.
<TITLE>The title of my page</TITLE> |
