Faint vertical lines on some channels

Something I've noticed recently on some (but not all) channels is that there appear to be several faint vertical lines on the picture. It's more noticable when there's a dark picture or if the picture fades to black. I've definitely noticed it on ITV1, Channel 4 and FX, and some others that I can't recall right now. It's definitely not my TV as other channels aren't affected.

This mock-up shows what I'm talking about:

Has anyone else noticed this?

BTW, this is with a Pace 4010 box on Langley if it's any help.

That would affect everything though. This is only happening on some channels.
