Pace Box
 

Following on from my slow pace box thread... our box keeps crashing when we try and change channels. Last night i went into guide, selected the channel, pressed select/ok and got a screen about there being a problem. I pressed "fix" this promptly took me back to the previous channel and removed the sound.

After waiting 10 mins we decided to try the remote again.. nothing... buttons on box didn't work. Turned it off, left it a good minute, back on... watched it "starting" for at least 5 mins. Gave up turned it off and waited, back on... waited another 5 mins and finally got back into the menus and was able to change the channel.

I presume this isn't normal and i should be reporting it to... customer services?
Well i hope this isn't normal anyway!

Other than the above, we have no complaints with the services provided!

Correct - is there something on the front of the box? (i.e. 8888, PACE, or something?)

Sounds like a knackered box/low signal - give CS a call and they'll send someone out :)
