NTL Digital C4 Subtitles
 

Hi All,

I live in the belfast area and have a basic NTL digital package. My subtitles are fine for BBC1, BBC2, ITV and C5 but Channel 4 has gone completely. Its been nearly over a week with no subtitles at all on C4. I've checked a friends box and they don't have any either, I don't know if its limited to Belfast or not... thats where you guys come in!

Being hearing impaired, its a bit annoying, can anyone shed any light on this problem / fault?

Just a second calling for information regarding the C4 subtitles, can other people try in their area to see if its limited to Belfast area, before I make a fool of my self with customer services..

Thanks for the welcome, and also for the reply. I'll check with other people in Belfast, but its looking bleak. Its been 2 weeks without any viewing on C4.. Its just dumfounding that subtitles are fine on other channels, and only C4 is affected..

Obviously thanks to Paul, its limited to Belfast / my box..

Just had confirmation from Proppinupthebar (former Cable Fourm member and all round good egg ;)) that there was a fault with the transmitter that they take the feed from.

If you have similar problems again, post it on a couple of forums (such as Digital Spy) where people such as Proppin' are members. As it happens he looks after this sort of thing, so if you have a similar problem why not post it there as well.

I always do that - helps probelsm get answered twice as quick :)

Just to update you guys,


C4 subtitles are back as of today (Thurs 17th Feb). Almost 2 weeks without them, it turns out that mr. propupinthebar was correct and there was a problem with the feed.
