ntl webspace upload
 

Can anyone give me some help, pleeeze!

My friend is on ntlworld cable & has web space. I am on BT broadband and want to write and upload his web pages, but everytime I try to access the FTP with Cute, it just hangs waiting for a reply from the NTL server.

Question: Do I have to be an NTL cable customer to access the NTL ftp server?

Hi Doveys, and :welcome:

You do need to be connected to ntl (i.e., have an ntl-supplied IP address) in order to connect to the upload.ntlworld.com server.

i believe you have to be on an NTL connection to be able to do that.

Or get some iweb solutions web hosting space.

Many thanks folks, for responding so quickly. I assumed that I needed to be an NTL customer, but thought I'd ask anyway. If anyone does know a way......

Unfortunately, as my friend does not want to be bothered with uplooading pages, etc. I guess his web space will remain unused.
