PHP, sending e-mail with attachment
Hi Guys,
Having a royal pain in the arse session.......... I need to have an entry page where someone enters there e-mail address, that then goes to a PHP script, where a prewritten mail and attachment is sent to the e-mail address entered..... Ive tried using the mail() function, this sends the e-mail, but not externally (only to local server) so need to use an smtp function (we have a relay service on our network that i can use), besides all this, the e-mail itself, when it arrives it has the attachment icon, but theres never any attachment, and also all of the headers are appearing in the body of the message.... Anyone done anything similar? or able to help? Edit : The server is windows 2003, PHP 4.3.9 |
Re: PHP, sending e-mail with attachment
you should be able to use the mail function, you probably just need to set a SMTP server in the php.ini file.
