Can't access dnsreport.com

Anybody know why this can't be accessed through ntl but is fine through BT?

Works for me.....

Sorry, I know that's not terribly helpful.

Have you got an explicit proxy server set in your brwowser?

Nope - but I have got a router. I'll check it out.

Thanks for checking.

If you haven't got a proxy set then it might be worth trying some of the ones listed here:

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robin.d...trancache.html

The instructions for setting one up are on that page as well.

It could be that the transparent cache that you are connecting through is having problems resolving the site address.

Re: Can't access dnsreport.com

Is that after applying a proxy as per the link above (I'm guessing not)?

What error message are you getting? Is the standard "Page not found" 404 message?

Have you tried Ctrl+F5 when you get the 404?

Re: Can't access dnsreport.com

Sorted! :)

Thanks for that Raistlin. It needed a different proxy.

Bit of a balls-ache doing that everytime. Thanks for your help

Re: Can't access dnsreport.com

Not a problem, you'll probably find that it sorts itself out in a couple of days.

If you've set it up in IE / FF you should find that it's just a case of taking a tick out of the box to put things back to normal.

Glad it's sorted though :D
