Ok, I finally got the correct bit of hardware - swapped the hub, added a bit of cash and got the above router.

Got a question about it though. The linksys website says it has NAT, the blurb with the router makes no mention to NAT and it even comes with NIS which it shouldn't really need if it's got NAT?

How do I confirm whether it actually has NAT or not?

P.S. I haven't got the net yet, ntl are supposedly coming on Thursday to connect us.

it seems to have nat as it offers port forwading static / dynamic routing

seems a bit over the top but im sure its a good router :) dont forget to grab the latest firmware http://www.linksys.com/download/firmware.asp?fwid=5
