Re: Messenger

if your talking about the MSN today popup from the MSN messenger service, try this:

go to tools - options - general tab - under 'sign in' you will see a box ticked "display msn today when messenger signs in" untick and hit ok.

It's the one asking if I want to download some files, it's got the MSN sign on the top bar.

You're being a bit vague-can you give us a more accurate description of the error, or better still a screenshot?

S orry Neil I've just deleted them all, they are like pop ups with messenger along the top bar.

Without a screenshot there aint much we can do :erm: .

The only thing which pops up with my msn is msn today which is simple to turn off. I am just lazy and keep meaning to get around to it. :)

Re: Messenger

are they normal text pop-ups? with porn and other stuff in them?

sounds like it has nothing to do with the msn messenger but the messenger service?

if that is the case use a firewall would stop them

or....

this is a link on how to remove (sorry didnt have time to find the microsoft knowledgebase article)
