I've used the basic Skype program to talk to someone in Sweden for an hour at no cost. I've not tried the one that lets you call landlines.

It was perfectly good, the quality was fine, there were no drop outs, it works.

I have downloaded the client, and set up an account but have yet to use Skype on my puter. So far I've been rather lazy and not set up my mic etc, but my mate Andy E was kind enough to give me a demo of this service before crimbo. According to Andy E it works as advertised, and is a sweet bit of 'ware. :)

Well, I've had Skype up and running since Sunday evening. On Suday I got a call from a Polish lady, Monday a call from a Thai Lady, and today (Tuesday), I'm taking a call from a Chinese lady.

I use it, called my sister on her mobile in australia for 10 minutes, cost 90p, not bad!

I have not got the foggiest idea mate. So far everyone who has contacted me has been a woman, and quite fit looking as well. :tu: ;) :angel:
