Restricting upload speed

I'm trying to download the World Of Warcraft beta client (all 2.4gb of it :() and it uses it's own custom P2P app, trouble is, it's uploading at 28k per second which is killing the download speed, is there some way of restricting the upload speed, there's nothing in the app you can change apart from turning off P2P transfer, but that lowers the xfer speed even further :(

me too, has the added effect that some P2P rely on your download being a ratio of your upload so if you throttle your upload back in the P2P software it reduces your download speed. USing Netlimiter foold the P2P into thinking it has full upload speed

Yeah, its a great app,
You can even restrict specific IP addresses too, so if you have a few downloads on the go you prioritize them so that the ones you need come down first and adjust the upload/downloads speeds in real time.
