MS Mappoint, anyone used it?
http://mappoint.msn.com
Just had a quick look at it and the instructions are nice and clear and it seems accurate enough for a free service. Seems to have a few problems on mainland europe directions though :erm: Oh oh |
Re: MS Mappoint, anyone used it?
I've used sometime ago now though, I do have a MapPoint book for Dummies book (Unused if you're interested) for vesion 2002 complete with CD (Unopened!)
The info on the states is much better than UK due to the amount of mapping data available. |
Re: MS Mappoint, anyone used it?
I've got MS Autoroute 2004 somewhere at home, but very rarely use it. Mates and colleagues all have SatNav in their cars, so I make them drive me places ;)
...talking of which, TomTom rocks! |
Re: MS Mappoint, anyone used it?
I'm quite impressed with it, unlike all the other map providers, they've bothered to map Northern Ireland pretty well.

Re: MS Mappoint, anyone used it?
Oh... didn't realise it was old... I only found it recently, and saw it was still in Beta stage. Would be good if they expanded a bit further afield.... like Swindon ;)
