2nd email sent from NTL goes missing?

This is important and I'd like to know if any other NTL users have experienced this:

Using Outlook Express, in the past few days there were 2 separate instances where 2 emails were sent in short succession to the same address on another system e.g. NTL -> fred@another.co.uk.

In each instance, the first one arrived, the second one did not. The evidence is still in the 'Sent Items' folder in Outlook Express, and I know thisis accurate info as in one instance the recipient was my work email and it's not here, not even deleted by accident.

NO failure notice was returned to NTL, so the email system is no longer reliable!

This might be a one-off (or a two-off) but if others are seeing this, add your comment!

I've had similar experiences on several occasions using Outlook on NTLworld. Message in Sent Items, no delivery failure message but messages not arrived. However, on one occasion I also sent a message that had previously failed to arrive using Hotmail. It also didn't arrive so this may not necessarily be an NTL issue. Any more technically minded bods out there with an explanation?! As an on-topic aside, NTL have admitted to me in the past that they've lost mails following a server failure.

NTL's email system has never been reliable and I gave up using it for important things a long time ago. Duplicate, missing and failed emails have been an ongoing issue for at least two years that I know of, just search the archives of the forum to find the evidence.
