try downloading this outlook update

using a ntl proxy i get service temporary unavailable but as soon as i used my squid proxy server it worked, also worked for my friend on a different isp.

which range of proxy servers do you connect through by default? have you tried specifying another?

I am in leicester so I guess leicester range I also tried 2 other ntl proxies specified.

nott-cache-1.server.ntli.net:8080
glfd-cache-3.server.ntli.net:8080

both failed

Downloads fine for me, also in Leicester with no proxy specified. :shrug:

well I took the test 1 stage further and yanked the cable modem and did a quick test on dialup, worked fine, so I cant udnerstand how it fails for me through ntl proxy and works with everything else yet works fine for others. Hmmm. Thanks for the help guys.

was that ntl dial up? cos iirc the BB and dialup use the same proxies
