Thumbnail creator
 

Hi, can anyone recommend a free thumbnail creator/editor.? I've tried to find one but they are all aval/trial versions and i want a free one really. A one that feathers the edges of pics and crops would be handy. Also possibly batch processing but i think i'm being a bit unrealistic!

I use a few SIMPLE Free Tools... Hope these will be of help to you...

http://www.snapfiles.com/get/photogadget.html (Like the Micro$oft Power Toy... But it allows you to enter a "Image Size") But maybe these will BE too big for Thumbnails....

http://www.snapfiles.com/get/easythumbnails.html The Simplest one I have seen... Set the File Size & Quality in the Program... & if you want Thumbs to have a "tn_" or "thumbs_" or any text variation to Original Files... Then if you selected this option in Install... You RIGHT CLICK any image & "Make Thumbnail"

You could also try Picasa http://www.picasa.com/picasa/ which is now owned by Google (and free as far as I know)
