Hi all,
Iâ₠¬ÃƒÆ’¢â€žÂ¢ve just built a great new machine but Iâ₠¬ÃƒÆ’¢â€žÂ¢m still using my Old but good IIYAMA Vision pro 410 17ââ‚ ¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚ÂÂ� but with a horizontal problem the screen jumps every so often an inch or two in and out at the edge of the screen, not a big problem but annoying.

Iâ₠¬ÃƒÆ’¢â€žÂ¢m looking for a Digital TFT monitor 19ââ‚ ¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚ÂÂ� or even 17ââ‚ ¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚ÂÂ� depending on price. I want one with a quick response time say around 16ms.

Anyone just bought one or suggestions?:)

The new 6800Gt card has the DVI connection so thatâ₠¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s a must I think.

If you want it quick I would go for a 17" TFT, because a 16ms response time seems to be standard, you would need to pay a LOT more for a 19" TFT with that (about double from what I can find).

Good selection of monitors, and best of all good prices, if you find anything cheaper elsewhere they will usually price match as well.

Have a look at this. Available in Black, Ivory or Silver for £232.65 inc VAT, and a tenner for delivery. Should also say this has a 10ms response time, sweet!!

Thanks mate, itââ‚ ¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢s a good site for reviews and prices and itââ‚ ¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢s well bookmarked. Iâ₠¬ÃƒÆ’¢â€žÂ¢m not rushed about the new monitor so I definitely what the prices to settle after XMAs and the new models that will probably be out.



Iâ₠¬ÃƒÆ’¢â€žÂ¢ll forgive you for possibly supporting the second best team in Glasgow, mind you I would say that living in Glasgow.;)

Considering some Iâ₠¬ÃƒÆ’¢â€žÂ¢ve seen in the flesh in shops I can live with the stand. I have the IIYAMA monitor CRT and it weighs half a ton on my desk and thought Iâ₠¬ÃƒÆ’¢â€žÂ¢d get another IIYAMA but they just look cheap and that apart from the other problems with them Iâ₠¬ÃƒÆ’¢â€žÂ¢ve read in TFT form.

The 20ââ‚ ¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚ÂÂ� visionhas a better stand that can revolve 360ââ‚Âà ‚¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚ÂÂ� and tilt every way you could want but for that extra 1 inch and better stand and slighltly slower response time of 16ms its over £600.

I've got the 17" version and I think its pretty good. The stand is okay too.

I got that very LCD from that shop only about a week ago - so far its VERY good - much sharper, better colours, absolutely no dead pixels and best of all - i dont see ANY ghosting in games (12ms response).

You will not be dissapointed with that monitor my friend, you even get a DVI cable out of the box as well.

I spent ages trying to find the right monitor as well, and have yet to see a bad review of this one which is the main reason i bought it.

That shop does give you free delivery as well, but its 3 to 5 days - however you can pay an extra fiver and get it next day.
