Cyber Pets
 

Anyone remember the days when those adorable little cyber pets were around. Thet were a pain in the butt, i had a dog. I did look after it but about a month later the batteries ran out, sad really.:bigcry: :bigcry:

Tamagochis - I was working in Tandy's when they came out. One week we offloaded 400 of the little buggers.

They only lasted a month. but then i didn't think it was worth replacing anywhay:D

AFAIKR they lasted a bit more than a month..
I still have several kicking about in the kids toy boxes.

The youngest has even asked for a new one!

Of course, the answer was NO! I got fed up having to look after the daughters puppy when she was at school.

I didn't think they were around anymore

you're kidding... some mobile phones have them on them!!!

I found the fastest way to kill them though..... a 14lb sledgehammer

I had one and liked it so much I wrote one in VB, I'll see if I can dig the code out and I'll post it on here! - Give you all something to look after in the winter nights ...

Thats where my 7 yr old looks.. he keeps a catalogue just for him to read..lol

i had a tamagotchi fom when it first started... dunno what you are all on about 1mnth battery... mine went on for almost a year before i got impatient and "accidentally" dropped it...

I cant remember, what came first; the yoyo or tamogotchi fad?

yo yos i think.. whatever it was both were banned after about a week at my school. miserable sods...

i almost knocked a friends teeth out while doing a "round the world" with my yo yo...

the daft git forgot to stay clear of me... im like a bombsite when i get going :D
