Effects of turning CM off ?
 

Can anyone tell me what the effect of turning of a CM for more than say 3 days will be?

I usually keep it on 24/7 but if I'm on holiday I want to know that it won't affect my BB - which is working just fine, touch wood !

I think the only thing would happen is that your IP address may change?

No effect at all. I always turned mine off if we were away for more than a couple of days (You shouldn't leave anything electrical switched on if you're going away for an extended period). Over the summer, it would be off for a fortnight while we were on holiday.

You might get a new IP addy when you power it back up, but IIRC the last time I had mine powered off for a couple of weeks I still got the same one back.
