Uploading to NTL
 

Hiya, i have a music software which uploads what is playing for the listener etc, anyway they FTP area looks like this:
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/davidwholt/RSP2Ftp.gif

and i have put all my detials in that i would use on Cofre FTP like upload.ntlworld.com and username davidwholt etc and i keep getting this error

FTP Error - Couldn't reach server "(62.253.162.29" during data transfer. on 12/19/04 at 09:42:12

i would like to use the feature on the software and anyhelp of what to put in this FTP area would be great. A friend of mine said i need a direct link to my webspace and get it of NTL but another who is no NTL with me said he doubts NTL would tell me so i am a bit stuck really.

Do you have a firewall running on your pc ?

you have pload.ntlworld.com should it not be upload.ntlworld.com?

Yeah i have ZoneAlarm and i know it does say Upload.

can you upload anything else?

it could be the program you are trying to upload may not be accepted by NTL.

not sure why yuu would want to upload this to your ntl webspace but I would imagine your upload path should be left blank
