Remember me and my laptop problem?
Thought id try again as I just did a search on google with the model number of my Medion Laptop. This is what the person said on another message board
"I have got a medion md40734 laptop also know as an fid2060+ i recently installed service pack 2 at this point my laptop would not boot into windows on entering safe mode locks with a black screen with pink and green lines. On checking the website http://www.michna.com/kb/WxSP2.htm i found out there is a problem with pentium 4's and windows xp i ran the microsoft fix after doing a repair installation, as listed on this site to no effects. From her i ran the next fix which was to get a bios update which i got from www.medion.co.uk the bios was correct for my machine. I ran this from a cd as at this point it would not enter windows. Now whenever i boot the system it gets 2 beeps and then says "error Resource conflict - PCI on Motherboard Bus:00, device:00, function 00 press f1 to resume or f2 to enter setup". I have been trying to find out what bios this has so i can update the bios but cannot find anything i ran fresh devices fresh diags the information is Bios vendor medion, bios version notebios version/L2850100, bios date 09/08/03, also ran bios wizard to try to find something this says its a pheonix bios 4.0 release 6.0, and mobo chipset is sis648 rev81 i have tried everything i can think of and i have worked in computers for 5 years. Anyone have any ideas about how to get a new bios with this i am out of ideas and have not got the old one backed upI have got a medion md40734 laptop also know as an fid2060+ i recently installed service pack 2 at this point my laptop would not boot into windows on entering safe mode locks with a black screen with pink and green lines. Re: Remember me and my laptop problem?
sounds as though you are in a world of **** here , the only thing that springs to mind is , does the machine have have dual bios chips so that it can be reset to its original factory bios , a long shot i know but i cant think of anything else short of asking medion to sort it out for you :disturbd:

LOL!!! you cut and pasted it around 4 times as well I thought you was in a panic, sounds like your best port of call would be Microsoft to be honest, check the knowledge base and try there support line, they are very good and always come up with some little gem in my experience.
