Someone has sneaked in and put a large magnifying glass over the monitor?

I suppose you've tried changing the resolution etc. and making sure any of the accessibility options are turned off?

Re: little problem

Have you checked the desktop resolution?

Close down all the windows
Right click on the desktop and select properties.
Click on the settings tab and make sure it's something like 800*600 or 1024*768 and either 16 or 32 bit

16 colours? Wonder if you had a driver problem that reset it? Seems strange that someone would go out of their way to set it to 16 colours :erm: I've set all the PC's in the department that I work in to the max colour setting and a decent resolution as I was fed up with looking at 800x600 @ 256 colours (our I.T boys are useless at setting profiles up so they work first time)
