DVD copying sound track

Hi all

I have a DVD which I would like to copy the sound track and play on my Ipod. Can this easly be done spliting the whole thing into tracks so I can click through them. I have DVD shrink and wondered if that's a good starting point.

Any ideas.

Thanks

Mike

I'm not sure, I've got DVD Shrink - I'll have a look when I get home ;)

You could try this - http://www.tucows.com/preview/343833.html

What i usually would do is extract the audio stream using DVD Decrypter.

If its ac3 I would use besweet to convert to mp3.

The i would split the mp3 using Mega mp3 splitter (freeware). Other tools should be the first results on a google.

Hope that helps.

yes it's possible although again i don't think this is legal even for music DVDs. I think if you use DVD shrink you can just take the soundtrack but not sure on what format this will be in. i guess you can then convert into MP3.

Either that or a quick google should give you a link to some progs that can do it

(just miss out the bit about burning it to a CD and remember to convert the WAV to MP3 before attempting to upload it to your Ipod)

This programme works really well and was very easy to use.

Thanks
