Website Design

I am creating a new website at present and want to add the following features:

1) Guestbook - Allow vistors to leave comments without 100's of adverts/popup windows etc. appearing (aka Bravenet) I would like to host this myself but I'm only using NTL webspace at present.

2) News System - Currently I have a table in a standard HTML page and I add a new row to the table when I have new news. I could go with a dynamic flash form, just wondered if there was a better way

3) Photo Album - I have a number (and growing) of photos that I'd like to be able to have thumbnails of and then allow the user to select the image. I can easily do this by creating multiple images and putting them on a page. But wondered if there was something that will make this easier.

Any help mucho appreciated - If you have examples of work you've done then post a link to give me ideas.

Thanks:wavey:

Well, you need something a little bit better than ntl web space for that little lot.

http://freshmeat.net/ should have plenty of CMS systems to get you started.

You really need more than NTL have to offer for that sort of setup......

Take a look here ;)

I'd suggest getting a cheap php and mysql enabled host and then having a butchers at hotscripts.com as they have a huge list of PHP scripts covering all three things you need (chances are you'll find all of them you need for free)
