Email On my Mobile
Anyone know how to set up email on a Motorola V600 I am with NTL Broadband and Orange pay as you go.
Connection type: GPRS or CSD APN address: User name: Password: DNS IP: . . . . Email provider: Custom or Orange Email Protocol: POP3 or IMAP4 User ID: Password: Sending host: Sending port: Receiving host: Receiving port: Return address: There is alot to fill in and I have tried different things but no luck to many varients. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Lee |

I'm not certain, but I don't think you can send email from your ntl address, when not connected to an ntl I.P address, so you'll probably need an alternative SMTP server. Not too sure about the rest, I know we've had questions (& answers) on this before, so have a look around. Enjoy the site. :) [Edit]-Found one! Try the following it might work but im not sure if its 100% correct.
Connection type: GPRS APN address: orangewap (if dont work try orangeinternet) User name: multimedia (username/password might go other way around :erm: ) Password: orange DNS IP: 192.168.071.035 Email provider: Custom or Orange Email Protocol: POP3 User ID: your Ntl username Password: your Ntl password Sending host: smtp.ntlworld.com Sending port: 25 Receiving host: pop.ntlworld.com Receiving port: 110 Return address: username@ntlworld.com |
