why am I getting 2 copies of each email?

for around a month now I am getting each email twice to my pop inbox., whilst this is better then when I simply used to not get my email it is getting rather annoying. Does anyone else have this issue and are ntl aware of it?

I have something like that off and on, when (for some reason) the download of the mails fails, next time it tries to connect it downloads all of the mails still on the server again, whether or not I've downloaded them before, so I end up with a second copy of a lot of my mails off and on.

I had that on and off on my Hotmail account. Never found a rhyme or reason for it.

Think yourself lucky - some people never get any :D

I think it's do with the mail client "remembering" which emails it has already - or not. I sometimes see it happen with Spampal when a mail check fails/crashes.
