Do Telewest use poxy proxy caching? Does email work? Can you get through to customer service in 5 minutes? (And is it a freephone)?

I used to be with NTL, and WAS NOT a happy customer. I moved to adsl, and have been quite happy with the level of service, and most particularly, being with providers that I trust.

I now live in a Telewest area, so could reconsider.

I'm not interested in cable TV or 'phone TBH.

Telewest have proxy servers, but afaik they are optional. I don't have any experience of their e-mail or customer service. Their new 4mbps speed looks very nice. :)
