NTL/TW Merger Question

When (?) the merger happens, will the one company operate different services if the different areas, or would they eventually be identical?

It would be a similar situation to what happened when ntl: took over the residential side of CWC. They would be different for a while but things would be merged. Hopefully not as slowly this time though... ;)
