Thats an excellent site but it doesnt have something I have been looking for FOR ALONG TIME!!

Lock taskbar!! -- As far as I know there isnt a way to do it in 98/98se which is stupid!!

have you tried creating this key and setting it's value to 0

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Advanced\TaskBarSizeMove

Yes I have and it doesnt work...... Ill try again.....


EDIT:

Nope....... I even did END TASK on explorer and restarted and it doesnt.. Must not be in the shell file for 98

I wonder if using WinME shell would work on 98se?? (Can ya lock taskbar on ME??)

No I was only wondering if the SHELL32.DLL file for ME might work on 98se? (The ME shell32.dll file might have LOCK TASKBAR but im not sure)

ME defrag WILL WORK on 98se but it doesnt do as good a job!! (I had it and went back to my 98se one)

There are also MGDX shells to allow XP games to be played on 98se plus the new dll to support large disks. ( >131gb)

Used these donkey's years ago when I was running 98SE.
