Slow web browsing with cable modem
 

very slow web browsing Hi everyone again seem to have a problem with very slow web browsing it takes usually 20 seconds as ie always seems to be Finding the website before it starts to load. Speed tests go indicate that my connection is normal for the 1.5meg. http://www.numion.com/YourSpeed/ i also tried this though and im getting 0Kbps any idea what i could do? thanks :).

try this speed test and cut and paste your results

and a couple of traceroutes to uk sites just in case its the 'teatime' lag

bbc.co.uk being one of the 'popular' ones

Try searching the forums for Proxy servers :-D

Or, it could be an issue with your PC / OS. Give us some more info, IE

Ethernet / USB
All pages slow / Just some
