FTP server

Would someone please tell me - in their opinion - what the best FREE ftp server is?

At the moment I am using cerberusFTP - I was just wondering if anyone could reccomend a better one.

Or do you think cerberus is ok?

Cheers in advance for your advice/opinions :)

Sorry I don`t use it but you could compare features with these :

http://www.serv-u.com/

http://www.pureftpd.org/

I like Titan FTP :-) it worth buying.

VSFTP is well worth a jolly - linux though.

Thanks to everyone for their replys - I'll do some investigating on the various options in the morning. :)

Hey dilligaf..........it was you that put me on to cerberusFTP and i still think its great :)
What features are you looking for?

It works fine....

I just thought I'd see if anyone knew of a better one :)

I'd say ServU is the best one for newbies,

http://www.serv-u.com/

And then Bulletftp next for the features,

http://www.bpftpserver.com/

Just to say, internally here at work we use BP ftp server and can recommmend it. Ok it ain't free but its pretty cheap considering. Sits there day after day and just works.

Its dead easy to set up.

If you have time on your hands look at

War FTP Server Its supposed to be very good, if a little complex but rock solid too.
