Music sample tracker software...
 

Anyone know of any fairly new software like this?
I have been using something called OctaMED/MED Soundstudio for about 9 years now since the Amiga but need something with a bit more power.

Can a midi seqencer like Cubase VST work with samples only?

Amiga... wow, now there's a name of a computer I have not heard of in a while... :eek:

My 600 is sitting on a shelf, still in quite good nick, together with its 1MB RAM card that I paid £44 for back then. :erm: :D

I still use an Amiga, a virtual one sitting on my PCs hard drive. :)
I used to have a 600 with 2MB of RAM, I stretched that to it's limit when making music. :D

These days, I think nothing of dealing with raw .avi files around 3GB is size for 5mins. :erm:

Cubase SX works with samples, so does Acid DJ Pro
