Wonder if MSBlast took the US power out?

Perhaps all these powerstations were controlled with W2k/WXP machines that got infected and shutdown screwing up the load balancing etc.?

I still do not think they know exactly what happened and blaming the blackout on the hot weather. But who knows what happened....

Both the UK and moreso Italy are suffering as a result of the weather in France reducing the cooling efficiency, thus output of their nuclear plants.

I read that it was a lightening strike on a sub-station....

I agree with the lightening strike reports about a power station getting a direct hit and causing a huge surge of power.

Its more believable than a virus knocking out the whole systems.. lol
