Am I being lied to?
I've been having trouble with my tv account for about a month and a half now. Our account was partially deleted and noone has been able to reactivate the account. After 10-15 calls we're still having the same problem. Yesterday an engineer came round and said the IT dept has to reset our account and it would be done in a few hours. This afternoon it's still not working. So I called ntl and they told me that there was some massive software fault/system error that was preventing accounts from being updated.
Can anyone who works at NTl confirm this, or has anyone else had problems with them being disconnected and the support people have been unable to fox it? It's not that I'm cynical but I know that I've been lied to before by people at Ntl and am wondering whether I should believe them now or whether I should just call them back and try and speak to someone else. Without knowing what kind of account it is, it's a bit difficult to say (not that I could help anyway). We still have numerous billing systems, although fewer than before.

Alex if you let the members know what area yoou live in then perhaps someone will have a look and check for you.
I know we have some NTL emplyees on here for Manchester area and Wales but unless they know the town its harder for them to try and help. |
