I can finally play this online!!

But not with xbconnect only gamespy!

So who uses it on here?

I only use XBConnect.

Can't you get XBC to work?

No, Always freezes up,

But gamespy did do taht but since an update its working much better

Gamepsy is crap!- it always used to freeze up and lag badly on my pc never worked properly - only use XBC - much better! Juts keep trying with xbconnect it generallyworks! But i dont think anyone uses gamespy for halo?

No i have both a MAC and PC,

I've got to say that I prefer XBC or XLink to Gamespy. IC, I'm surprised you couldn't get XBC to work.

Its the winpcap file that freezes my machine i think....

The latest version of gamespy doesnt use that any more witch is way it doesnt freeze.

I think you can get a different version of Winpcap. I'm sure it says something about it at the XBC site.

EDIT: I've also found on the XBX Help Website a list of three drivers you can try:

• Driver 3.0 (beta)
• Driver 2.3
• Driver 2.2

How do i use a different version?

Not sure. I guess you just uninstall the existing version & then install the other version you want to use.
