Mothers Against Maddox

Anyone who knows the net would have seen this site at least once:
http://maddox.xmission.com (may contain swearing)
He's well known as a net celebrity who says what he thinks and really doesn't care what you or anybody else thinks, at least he's honest (and bloody well funny too).

Now there's a group of people who want to get rid of this guy here:
http://www.petitiononline.com/nomaddox/

Some people just dont "get" that Maddox guy.....that women who owns the site obviously does not. An example might be while Maddox might say littering is great the underlying messege is that it is not.

The problem is that kids dont undestand this.
I believe Maddox says he does not care and that that parents should monitor what there kids look at. Which is kinda fair enough :)

If you go online, YOU take responsibility for what sites you choose to visit.

If your kids go online, then you should be giving then guidance and supervision, or a guy with a few OTT opinions is the least of your worries.

But don't presume to take responsibility for what other people wish to visit.

http://www.wired.com/news/politics/0...1733%2C00.html - Looks like the humourless brigade managed to finally castrate bonsaikitten - if I didn't believe it was a parody, I certainly wouldn't defend it

It always makes me laugh. The petition says repeatedly that this guy is "arrogant/egotistical". However they don't seem to realise that the fact that they personally seem to be the sole judge on what is tasteful, funny, etc isn't egotistal at all is hilarious.

Edit: Check the signatures on the petition.. They are hilarious!
