Help: Stuttering picture and of out of Sync sound..
Iâ₠™ve noticed over the past few days that we have had an increased amount of †˜stutteringà€ââ₠¬Å¾Ã‚¢ in the picture [picture freezes for a second then continues] .. this happens regularly on most channels at some point or another.
Iâ₠™ve just been flicking channels and am currently on CNN News and also notice that the sound is †œout of syncâ₠¬Ã‚ by quite a margin. This was also mentioned to me the other night by my girlfriend as she watched The X-Factor that had been recorded for her (source NTL ITV1); i.e sound being out of sync. It might be worth mentioning that we had our PACE box replaced on Thursday with the new Samsung version.. but I'm quite sure that the stuttering was here before then, although not the sound-sync-issues. Pressing Up/Down/Blue reveals (on CNN) Code:
SNR: 33.0db Any ideas? |
Re: Help: Stuttering picture and of out of Sync sound..
Hi, I'm in the Wirral area ... I have a new Samsung and it is happening to me as well. I noticed that it did this when GMTV was on this morning ... Oh well every cloud has a silving lining!!!! ;)
(Honest the wife watches it...). Perhaps another undocumented feature of the samsung boxes?! |
Re: Help: Stuttering picture and of out of Sync sound..
A few hours later, just taken a look at the TV again (tuned again to CNN) and the out-of-sync issues are still very apparent.
With your comments it could well be the Samsung box.. |
Re: Help: Stuttering picture and of out of Sync sound..
I get this fairly often with though with my Pace 4001...
It seems to be on 'popular' channels like BBC1 etc, but not on say Discovery Wings.... Rob |

We've certainly noticed it a lot more in the last few days - stuttering on most channels (BBC1 / ITV / Sky Sports).....
Tried rebooting the box - still stuttering...... |
