Guest channel moved (in Bromley)...
(reported & confirmed by Proppin over on DS) anyone know why this is happening?
is it time for the rumour mill to start talking about say $ky1 moving to 106 etc etc?? |

lol, how weird you say that, ive already started that rumour over on DS. lets hope theres a reshuffle on the way. At least we now know they actually have the ability to move channel numbers

The ability has always been there - but it would be a mammoth task plus a PR nightmare... 'where's my fave soap/movie channels?' 'why has my cartoon channel say red hot xxx? etc etc....

we could always use the INFOMERCIAL channel ntl: to advertise what will be happening rather than advertising...Oxi clean, titanium 3+ etc

no ntl wouldn't do that! they wouldn't make any money out the channel :rolleyes:
but, i really hope a reshuffle is on the way. and it won't even affect the favourites, as the number can be changed and the channel remains in the same place! :) |

Nobody is biting in NTL ... Come on - let us mere mortals in on the secret! OK then another rumour- $ky1 is getting 106 as we are getting all the $ky interactive stuff??;) :D Just had a thought- Bromley starts at 1 not 101:( |

This is the only channel that's being moved to a different channel number. It will be moved on Langley as well so they are still on the same number.
There won't be any other channel number moves following imminently, so no, we are not renumbering all of the channels one at a time! Sam |
