I don't know if the rules have changed ...

Aerosols - do they go in hand luggage or should they go in a suitcase ?

Can someone help out ?

Are the US rules so everywhere else will be less stringent.

Main thing is to make sure the cap stays firmly on if you check it so it cannot get squirted all over your suitcase. Similar for carry on. Do you want it hissing above your head as the bags slide in the overhead bins as you take off?

Just normal body stuff, wifes stuff (suitcase by itself)

I had a deodorant can in my hand luggage when I flew to China in April, so it shouldn't be a problem.
