File sharing Software?

Does anyone know of any software that would allow me to run on a Webserver that allow people to upload files and add descriptions to?

Then people can look at the list of files and download what they want...

Solution needs to be Webbased.

Re: File sharing Software?

there are so many php scripts that do this I couldn't list them... I'd just randomly download a script from hotscripts.com and give it a try.

this one looks ideal: http://phpatm.kc-it.com/index.html

I have used ATM quite a lot (as a user) and it is very good & what I would be using if I needed it.

But would you be allowed that on i-web space caspar?

as long as nothing uploaded violates the T&C's, yes
