STB Connection speed
Hello there,
Wanted to know if anyone can clarify my question. I've been told that the modems in the std'd are at a standard 250kbps. Is this true? |
Re: STD Connection speed
Welcome Pablo, not quite sure what you're question is, could you clarify ?

Re: STD Connection speed
Yeah sorry. I'm on the 150 connection speed with ntl. I use the ethernet cable threw my set top box. I've been told that the set top boxes are a standard 250 kbs. This means i'm getting a higher speed than i'm paying for. The reason i ask is that i'm thinking of canceling the t.v and moving over to sky. But if the speed is 250 then i will be staying. |
Re: STD Connection speed
Yes - the "150k" connection via STB is actually 256k - and in the next three months it will rise to 300k. :)

Re: STD Connection speed
Will it atomatically rise ao will i need a new stb (dunno why i was calling them std, i ain't got one) |
Re: STB Connection speed
With the 150K and 600K packages you will not need to change anything, the upgrade will be automatic.
