How do I move a large SQL database?

I have a 400 meg MySQL database running on a web host at the moment and need to move it to another web host, I've tried exporting it using PHPMyAdmin which was fine, but it constantly bombs out (and takes HOURS) to reimport. Is there an easy way of doing it?
