Problems playing DVD RAM discs in Win DVD

Wonder if anyone can help with a strange problem?

Up until now I have been able to record video onto DVD RAM discs with my Panasonic recorder, and playback the content with Win DVD. Now, all of a sudden, when I go to play a disc I'm getting crashes with the attached error message, plus a huge long error report. This has happened to a couple of discs. The disc and directory structure are fully readable in Windows Explorer.

Any suggestions? Are there any other good players out there which I could try?

Errr, not sure. I have a suspicion that somehow it's not liking the way these ones have been burned.

But they do play back in the writer, and if I copy and paste the VOB file and rename as an MPEG, it works fine.

what format are you using the disks? is it SVCD?

try using Divx for playback if you have that.... if not...
