Expect to hear more debt like that here in the future ... top-up fees will exacerbate the problems of debt already faced by students.

Very soon I'll be making a very important choice - should I go to university and get into debt just for doing so or should I stay debt free and take what's there? :confused:

Currently students work (too) many hours just to be able to afford to stay at Uni, and socialise as they should. Eventually very few will be able to study full-time, as is the current norm, and you'll see a switch to part-time education with most students working full-time (rather than part-time at the moment). Not sure whether it's good or bad yet. The socialising side of things will be lost and Halls will go too :(

I'm going to be doing a BTEC National Certificate in Computer Studies plus a BTEC in Programming.
2 days a week in college for 2 years, 4 A-levels equivalent at the end of it and no dept! :)
