FTP Software Recommendation ?

Anyone able to recommend any good shareware, ideally free, FTP software for upload and download changes to a website, especially backing it up securely?

I really would like something that will trawl through a site including layers of subfolders, which can be updated by others as well as myself, and then identifies and downloads any changed files so I can be sure I have a proper backup

Currently I'm using something called Leech, which the webhost puts on it's support pages, but it looks like that is no longer updated. It keeps dropping the connection (that may be something to do with the remote server?), but more importantly it seems rather particular about what it chooses to download, so I often return and find a folder that hasn't been copied to my computer.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance.

Is that LeechFTP http://stud.fh-heilbronn.de/~jdebis/...downloads.html

I've never had any trouble with it.
It supports multiple threading, queue lists, timer mode, directory compare etc

Yep, same program.

I'm getting similar results with Filezilla - I think it's likely to be the server that keeps timing out  (Yes I know get a proper host like I-Web ;) ).

Thanks for the suggestions and links :)
