Webhosting for FREE

Have a look at http://www.thefreeserver.com

You get:

  1. PHP, PERL, MYSQL, ENSIM and all the technical things you could use.
  2. Automatic submission to all major search engines.
  3. Built in PowerTools that allow easy setup of PHPNuke, Oscommerce, phpbb and more!
  4. 2,000 MB of Disk Space.
  5. 60GB of Bandwidth
  6. 1,000 Mysql Databases, 1,000 Subdomains, 1,000 Sub Users, 1,000 Email Accounts
  7. POP3/SMTP/IMAP Support
  8. ClamAV Antivirus Software
  9. Antispam Software
WHAT YOU MUST DO
You must put some kind of content on your site and the advertising code on your website within 5 days of signing up. (The ad code will be emailed to you.)
You must have at least 7 views average of the advertisements per day on your website after 5 days of signing up. These views can be your own visits if your website is new.(non-unique views). If you fall below this requirement, an email reminder will be sent to you.

And best of all it cost $0.00

Inferring that you need 7 unique ad clicks per day when your site is established, most people hate banner ads/popups so good luck

I think that people are very quick to jump down Wayne's throat with criticism (or negativity at least). I myself have attempted to offer some ahem, constructive guidance in the past.

This is probably due to his boundless optimism, and agreed, there are always pitfalls, the ideas won't always work and there are limitations to these 'free' services. However, for once, why don't we give the guy a break, and see what he comes up with.

So come on Wayne, show us what you can do with all this stuff.

I am all for a free ride but as always there are hidden catches reminds me of a host i know who offered something similar to peeps the first 2 or 3 weeks all is fine they are getting the required number of hits on site then the host ups the number and says if he does not make these then either he will lose the site or start paying for it this went on for a while in the end the figures were 10000+ unique hits per day or start to pay te full price i think it was in the region of £30 per month they wanted if the quota was not met but hey if Wayne can make a go of it then the best of luck i sincerly hope he does well he deserves it for the sheer determination he is showing to get his site on the World Wide Web only real advice i can give him is read all the fine print.

It means that it's necessary to use capital letters (upper case) and non-capital letters (lower case) where indicated

eg if a password was TGabC2ptG it has to be entered exactly like that putting in tgabc2ptg or TGABC2PTG won't work.

The password would have to be entered in the same way in which you signed up for it.
