My res is at 1024 by 768 pixels and when i go to www.thecomputerforum.co.uk and then click enter it doesnt all fit on the page if you know what i mean. Its got a slider bar along the bottom. But, when i go to http://looeyb.uh-hosting.co.uk/forum/index.php where its hosted it fits in nicely. Any idea's? |
My guess is it's your forwarding setup, I know my hosting co. has a number of options on how I should present my webpage and if I get the wrong one I get the same - will dig and let you know what I selected...
Back: 5 options: No web-forwarding Framed web-forwarding to a single page Non-framed web-forwarding to a single page Framed web-forwarding Non-framed web-forwarding I use : Framed web-forwarding |
i use freeparking.co.uk and they dont have any options. ah ****
|
Are you using a redirect in HTML from the thecomputer... page?
or is it just redirect from your hosting company If your hosting company you could drop them a line an explain your problems they may be able to help you out... |
I've used Freeparking's web forwarding on a lot of sites, never had that problem before, that is odd.
They use framed forwarding. |
I have no probs viewing your site in both IE 5.5 and Opera 7.11. I don't see the bottom scroll bar until I reduce the window width to about 600 pixels.
However, I have noticed this line in the source: <FRAME SRC="http://looeyb.uh-hosting.co.uk/" SCROLLING="AUTO" NORESIZE FRAMEBORDER=0 BORDER=0 MARGINHEIGHT=3 MARGINWIDTH=3> Surely, the margins should be zero. |
